    Office Hours Notice

On Monday, Feb. 15th, DPOR and all state offices will be closed for George Washington Day. The Commonwealth is known as the “mother of presidents” because eight presidents in all are from Virginia, more than any other state.

FUN FACT: Did you know that Virginia provided four of the first five presidents of the United States? And you can still visit their homes nearby at Mount Vernon, Monticello, Montpelier, and Ash Lawn-Highland. Learn more at http://www.virginia.org/PresidentsDay/.
