    Columbus Day is observed on the second Monday of October and remembers Christopher Columbus’ arrival to the Americas in 1492.

    DPOR and all executive branch state agencies are closed for this federal holiday on Monday, October 12. Online Services will remain available for license renewal and other transactions.

    Two Amateur Boxing/MMA Sanctioning Organizations Now Approved 


    Application process remains open

    Effective Oct. 1, 2015, amateur events are allowed only under the oversight of approved Sanctioning Organizations (list here).

    Promoters, fighters, and other participants in amateur events must work through one of these approved Amateur Sanctioning Organizations and comply with its standards and operations.
